Pitch:
We share this planet with 6.8 billion people and we need a better understanding or, at the least, a higher level of appreciation and respect for each other as we face our common challenges.
Through dynamic editing and beautiful Every Day Life (EDL) visuals from cultures across the globe and In-Their-Own-Words perspectives HUMAN BEINGS will demonstrate that even with our spectacular cultural differences, we also share many of the same concerns, hopes and aspirations within each unique society. And yet, as we become 7 billion, we each possess a quality that makes us uniquely individual.
The film will feature and celebrate the diverse visual beauty of human beings within their cultures across the planet. The film will include interviews with individuals both known and unknown who present ideas or programs that bring people together.
Filming is being planned for the following 12 locations
India, Middle east, Israel or Egypt or both, Italy, Africa, Kenya, Thailand, Viet Nam, Australia, NYC, Rio, Los Angeles USA, Scottland or Ireland - and we anticipate 6 week shoot (includes travel in country) to get the footage needed
The four trailers seen on the above link are a brief sketch for HUMAN BEINGS.
If later you are on the street and you see a stranger and if even for an instant, this bit of film makes you ask yourself what another person’s life must be like...then you will already be affected by this project.
